SocialCard

With the SocialCard, you pay less for:

• Transportation with the bus and Saarbahn (tram) in Saarbrücken
• Admission into cinemas, theatres or local swimming pools
• Events in the Municipal School of Music (städtische Musikschule) and more

The SocialCard is often included with your official notice of approval (Bewilligungsbescheid) which you receive from the Social Welfare Office (Sozialamt) after your application has been approved. Sometimes, however, it will be sent a few days later. You can also acquire the SocialCard at the Job Centre.
