RESONANZ - AN IMMERSIVE AR-MUSIC INSTALLATION IN THE COURTYARD OF THE STADTGALERIE

The RESONANZ project is a unique installation with music, art and animation in an augmented reality and is a meeting point and interactive experience.

You can bring the floor to life via your smartphone! Play a role in the orchestra! When you are with six other people in the installation, you can listen to the music played by the full orchestra.

The idea comes from Jana Günther, a concept designer and director of "Resonanz" and from Tobias Scherer. The music concept comes from the managing and artistic director of the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Markus Korselt. The project was launched this summer on the Kleiner Schlossplatz in Stuttgart. From there, the installation moved to Strasbourg and is now in Saarbrücken at the St. Johanner Markt. Other locations in Europe will follow.

As a place of critical confidence, the Stadtgalerie facilitates new forms of cooperation and multidisciplinary projects in the border region: international artists gather here and meet the local population, and engage with different spaces and disciplines. Together we develop strategies for a desirable future. In the centre of Saarbrücken the open space of our courtyard, a protected site, is used for a wide variety of events in cooperation with the cultural office and in collaboration with the exhibition space of the Stadtgalerie.
