Natascha Sadr Haghighian

19 February until 06 June 2021

Natascha Sadr Haghighian shows multimedia installations, video and audio works as well as drawings, some of which directly link to the artist's installation in the German Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2019. The works trace the complex interconnections and interpenetration of technology, biology, value systems and question an anthropocentric understanding of the world.

In cooperation with the gallery of the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar (HBKsaar) and the Hochschule für Künste Bremen (HfK Bremen), another exhibition will take place: Natascha Sadr Haghighian is professor of sculpture at the HfK Bremen. Students from the Master's program "Curating and Exhibiting" at the HBKsaar curate an exhibition together with students from Sadr Haghighian's class. Katharina Ritter brings the Stadtgalerie into an ongoing dialogue with cultural practitioners in a transdisciplinary and transcultural context.
