The QuattroPole network of cities has wants to create a network of young companies and recent initiatives in Luxembourg, Metz, Saarbrücken and Trier.

With some 75 000 students in total, centres of excellence and research facilities, Luxembourg, Metz, Saarbrücken and Trier can draw on a considerable potential for economic innovation, especially in the fields of the digital economy and creativity. The QuattroPole network of cities aims to take cooperation to the next level and establish itself as a genuine platform for linking up economic players with a view to strengthening the cross-border dynamic.

With this in mind, the QuattroPole network of cities organises events aimed at linking up start-ups with decision-makers and investors from the Greater Region.

As part of the Franco-German week “Metz est wunderbar”, Metz, along with QuattroPole, has organised a cross-border trade fair dedicated to start-ups on the premises of TCRM-Blida, an artistic, digital creation, production and innovation hub. The one-day Start-up Show brings together 42 start-ups from the fields of the digital and creative economy in Luxembourg, Metz, Saarbrücken and Trier, there to present their innovative designs to political decision-makers, investors and company representatives. The Start-up Show attracts almost 500 visitors.
